So, you've shot your content...how do you edit it? You need a computer and software, but more importantly, you need to understand how to best use that software! What software should you use? I provide some suggestions, but ultimately, it's finding the right fit for your situation and experience level!
If you're on Mac, you can use Final Cut Pro ($), Adobe Premiere Pro ($), Sony Vegas ($), DaVinci Resolve (does have a free version). If you're on PC, you have a much wider variety of options that include paid options (Premiere Pro, Sony Vegas) and free options (DaVinci Resolve, Lightworks).
In terms of quickly teaching yourself with online tutorials, the most widely supported program would be Premiere Pro.
